it's totally worth the hassle!! I stayed in a hotel like five miles away and it was not fun! A hotel in sobe puts you right in the middle of everything within walking distance!!! Trust on this one!
UK Clubber coming for WMC its not easy buying E….you have to build trust as WMC Veteran stated at a party. Everyone kinda is paranoid its the elephant in the room everyone is on it but no one wants to part with it or say who/where you can get it. WMC vet is right I saw a girl buy “something” and having convulsions within the hour! Plus the price is ridiculous!
Also if you go to Ultra there are at least 50-100 undercover police in the crowds. I have encountered them on numerous occasions. One came out of a service entrance, clearly a cop, and sat down and asked to smoke what i was smoking. I told him no. He then asked where i got it and i told him there was a guy selling it over by a tent 500 feet away (which wasn't true). Then he got up and went over there. One year I got busted and they took me in the back to a side of ultra you don't see. Trust me even if you don't see the cops they are there. Use the same caution as you would if you were using/selling at a mall etc. Hope this saves you a night in jail.
So I think Daft Punk will be at Ultra and here is why. I found this post from last year as a teaser and if you look at the names everyone else has pretty much confirmed making me think that Daft Punk will be one of the last Big Names added. What do you think?

Miami Vice attire. no seriously your gonna sweat like crazy I would wear some breathable clothes and layers so you can adapt. Bring a nice shirt then hang it on a chair or something.
Don't waste your time. Go to Ultra and find some 18 and ups if you are. Smartest way to have fun underage is find a hotel party or make your own. Otherwise you are asking for trouble and no you don't look like the girl in the picture.
Best Pass is the WMC Badge for $400 bucks. If you are going to Ultra it is worth it, but if you are picky about the parties you want to go to maybe not. See if the parties are “unnofical” then you still pay. So scout your parties and look on the wmc website. If all you want to do are official then get the badge if not then buy tickets to what you know you want to do. So there are passes but it is better to mix it up. Second best in terms of access is the Fuck You Wristband for 700/1000 bucks. Not worth it.

i thought a lot about coming there this year for the 1st time (mainly for techno and minimal party), but i've read about entrance and admissions lol … i come alone from very far away, and i dont feel about spending about 5 000 dollars for plane and hostels and staying outside 'coz my friend are not fond of the music i love or those who like did not plan to come to Miami =^/

Hi! I've got a bunch of questions and any help is greatly appreciated.
1. Is it true that you are not allowed to bring any water to the Ultra Festival site?
2. Same question for digital cameras.
3. This will be my first time in Miami and I'll be staying in a hostel in South Beach. What's the situation with supermarkets and convenience stores like there? For getting cheap booze on the way to festival and clubs and stuff like that. I
4. Since I am on a relatively tight budget (and probably not good-looking enough to get into all the fancy big name DJ parties, anyway), are there any clubs which are generally less expensive and where the crowd consists more of “down to earth” people than VIP-wannabes ;-)? I've already found extensive WMC party listings on the web but I don't know how to spot out the “unpopular” clubs/parties. Odd question, I know :D.
Totally change your hotel and loose the car! You have to be near Ocean drive or on Collins use Surfcomber as your Mid point address check for hotels you look at.Being in the mix is part of experience all the hotels are going off with parties and people are walking all over.

Hey I was wondering what are you allowed to take in to Ultra? Like a bag or a camera or anything like that? Also, I was reading below that there are a lot of undercover cops spread throughout the crowd at Ultra so it's probably not the best idea to try and purchase anything from someone inside the festival…this being said, how hard is it to bring in your own substances from outside?
I have pruchased tickets for the ultra Festival. If I am going as a tourist, do I need to buy passes for WMC itself? Is it worth the money?
Yes I have a related question about Space, and came to this thread in hopes of finding out! We wanted to go to the closing party at Space on Sunday, and when you buy tickets in advance you have the option of $20.00 before midnight, $30.00 before 2am. There is no other information on Wantickets about how this works. So what happens if you get there after 2AM? I heard a rumor that after 2AM you may have to give them a significant amount of extra $$ along with the ticket that you already bought?? Or does your advance ticket not even matter anymore? The party is 11PM Sunday to 2PM Monday so what if we go there in the early hours of Monday morning to get all we can out of WMC before flying home??
I'm going with a group of friends to UMF on friday and saturday (first timers). What do you recommend to wear? I heard its hot during the morning and cold at night. I also heard its impossible to get a cab or ride to and from SOBE and to just walk the bridge to and from the show. Is that true? Any other recommendations?

i hav a fake license thats identical to the real thing side by side and it scans do you think ill be ok? do they take a blacklight to IDs?

Hello, I am not attending the WMC but I am attending the UMF as a VIP. Does this VIP ticket give me access to any of the cool parties around Miami? This is my first time ever going to a festival and I am extremely excited. So yeah, do any of the parties recognize this VIP ticket which I purchased for $430 after it was all said and done. I don't understand how old do you have to be to go to wmc? Can any age go but only 21+ in certain areas?
if you have vip do you get free water or do you get to bring in your own water?
