WMC Accommodation/Hotel Tips

+ Try to book your hotel close to Washington Av or Ocean Blvd. if you want to be in heart of all the action…and noise.  – ?
+ Try to get a few people to stay in the hotel room so that you can all chip in. – ?
+ Buy a badge early. It’ll pay for itself the first day, plus, you get a good discount at the official WMC hotel. – Brandon Zeiders
+ Hotels will be expensive but my girl and I always luck with condos. Just Google “condos in southbeach”. – Melissa Ray

+ Let the mainstream do Ultra and check out the real conference! – Kevin Morse

+ Buy all your tickets to events presale for a huge discount. Often this doesn’t mean you have to plan too far ahead either, because presale tix are usually available online until hours before the events start. Bring your laptop with you and check the list, clubtix.com, or wanttickets.com everyday for a list of presale tix you can buy (even last minute). This can make the difference between paying $35 to get into an event rather than $100! – Liz Labellarte
+ Buy passes or tickets for parties BEFORE you get to Miami..and always pre game in the hotel!
+ Get to parties early because some nightclubs overcharge after the capacity is Full.  – Aline Nunez
+ Always double the admission price that is on the List. It’s always twice as much by the time you get there. - Amber Justen
+ Use cash! Last year the bartenders at Studio K decided to charge me an extra $300. Although it was disputed and returned to me from my bank, it was still a pain in the ass. Use cash! – Alex Lodi
+ Carry a flask for alcohol when you go out.  Drinks are way too expensive! But do be discreet with it…for obvious reasons. – Jay Marley
+ Don’t bother with Ultra, check all the hotel and club parties. The hotel parties between 14th and 4th on Washington, Collins, and Ocean are the shit during the day, and usually free. The club parties at night are all at good clubs and they stay open pretty late compared to most cities in Florida. Bring twice as many party favors as you think you need.  Sometimes that’s better currency in Miami that cash. – Christopher Wesley

WMC Travel Tips

+ Book plane and hotel tickets as soon as you find out the dates of the WMC. – Gabrielle Riot Sasso
+ For those of you on a budget: If your staying in South Beach and don’t want to pay $25.00US for a 1-way cab ride downtown (i.e.: Space Nightclub), then catch the Metrobus on Washington Avenue. The bus ride may take 20/25 minutes vs the 15/20 minutes that a cab ride would be, but the bus only cost’s $2.00US. The bus will drop you off on Biscayne Boulevard (right across the street from where the Ultra Festival was set up in 2009). Space is a 3 block/5 minute walk from there. – Steve Hayward
+ I  stay off Collins and Ocean that way I can move around cause those streets have mad traffic. I like to be able to get away from the crazies. – Jeff Barnstorf

WMC Eating Tips

+ Bring tons of Emergency C packs. Its a life saver! – Gina Nguyen

+ Study a lot of DJs faces. You will run into a bunch of them at different parties and on the street. – Warren James
