I am honestly not that impressed……. the lineup/headliners are something to be expected. Last year with The Prodigy headlining day 2 was something you just absolutely had to see, something that doesnt come around often. You can almost bank on every year seeing Tiesto, Armin, Deadmau5, Eric Morillo, PVD, etc….. I think they need to have a rare stand out artist/group headlining one of the days. My choice would be none other than Daft Punk, but that just in my perfect own little world! LOL

This is very dissappointing. I go to Ultra every year and this is the worst line up yet. I really thought after the crap that went on last year, pulling plugs on DJ’s (BT)(Rabbit), cutting acts out (Kaskade), that this year they would try harder. I hope that more DJ’s come, and I hope the people who do Ultra understand it is NOT Ultra or Miami that bring the crowd it’s the DJ’s. Guess I’ll wait to purhase a ticket… Might have to hit up the clubs….

did anyone notice that PVD’s NOT on there? Guess he’s too big since American Idol!

  12. Posted January 4, 2010 at 2:51 pm | Permalink

Kanye West wouldnt let anyone perform if Ultra doesn’t hire Beyonce as a headliner.

I have seen almost every dj thats playing this year. I come to Ultra to see acts that I cant see in Detroit. Ultra needs to think “out of the box” and bring in artists that haven’t played Ultra before. Thanx you for not booking PVD!

Do you guys not realize that they won’t announce the big names until the second phase? It’s the same way they did it last year too…

And from what I find Daft Punk is not touring in 2010, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up:

I agree, the line up is decent but a the big performer announcement will definitely solidify the party ULTRA. I haven’t been to WMC since about 10 years ago and am very much looking forward to this.
I agree Pendulum would be fantastic, Basement Jaxx would be better.Sasha and Digweed would do it also. I was surprised John B. Is not on the lineup yet.I am looking forward tom more announcements!

Hey beef the line up more! And next year come to LA and help me take down Go Ventures + Insomniac they are just a bunch of greedy bastards. I went to TAO only to see Sander and i wasn’t even let in to the stage because it was too full they are total fags. Ultra is well set up, but the line up this year is a little weak compared to last year. I hope you can spice it up before the 26, i am still coming but not super pumped
