For the first time ever, the sweet sound of glitch hop will be slapping brains in Miami during Winter Music Conference at a fresh underground party going down March 27: SLIPPERY.

Winter Music Conference is known for high-flying progressive beats and townloads of trance, but YOU JUST CAN’T STOP THE BASS. Crunchy West Coast glitch hop is coming to Miami to provide a welcome respite of broken beats and slower yet danceable tempos out of some of the genres’ most innovative producers and DJs with the help of Glitch.FM and Miami Bass: Mochipet, Fresh@Death (Ben Samples & Greg Fisk), S.P.E.C.T.R.E, Pressha, HipGnosis, Stutterfly, Afro Monk, Munkz, Gooddroid & MC Farfetched.

Held at Club Cinema Upstairs at 637 Washington Ave from 10PM to 5AM, Slippery brings together bass music artists from Seattle, San Francisco, Boulder, Miami and more to deliver the whomp the way it should be: thick, delicious and dirty. Glitch hop, also called bass music, midtempo, burner breaks and laser bass, has a hip hop backbone draped with electronic wizardry. Fat slapping bass combines with a myriad of fresh samples and chopped-up sounds, blending into a new creature that is released onto the dance floor and into your brain like a feral beast.
