If an event could be judged by the venue alone, One Night Only would have been my favorite. With a room to please every side of my personality, Karu & Y truly blew me away. Add in the quality of performers, and One Night Only seemed like a certain home run. I started my night with Mightyfools, who quickly became one of my favorite discoveries of Winter Music Conference 2010. AC Slater and Star Eyes blew me away as well, but something was missing. What was it?
The party needed volume. Great performances by Josh Gabriel and Wolfgang Gartner were enough to make me stick around, but being the WMC equivalent of blue balls, I left this event needing more. So that is exactly what happened. I left this event early and went somewhere else. Somewhere louder. – Whitney Lawson

Agreed…the sound system, especially in the main room, was crap! Terrible sound :( I also thought it was tough to get into a set that was 20-30 min long. The talet was great as usual and the setting, especially the Buddah Garden, was great…but will NOT do that party for a third year :(
